The Application Process for the 2021 Transformative Change Initiative Fellowship is Now Open

Young Audiences of Louisiana seeks Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Latin X teaching artists to participate in a 10-month paid fellowship supporting career development in arts education. This fellowship requires a time commitment from participating fellows from August ‘21-May ‘22 and offers compensation of $15,000. Selected fellows will be asked to meet the following commitments:

  • Attend two monthly meetings with TCI advisor for the duration of the fellowship

  • Teach four 3-week in-classroom arts residencies at Young Audiences Charter School at Crocker

  • Participate in three Professional Development workshops with local and national artists & agencies

  • Lead a culminating Professional Development presentation for local arts educators in the community
