Call to Artists Seeking Arts Education Career Development
The Application Process for the 2021 Transformative Change Initiative Fellowship is Now Open
Young Audiences of Louisiana seeks Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and Latin X teaching artists to participate in a 10-month paid fellowship supporting career development in arts education. This fellowship requires a time commitment from participating fellows from August ‘21-May ‘22 and offers compensation of $15,000. Selected fellows will be asked to meet the following commitments:
Attend two monthly meetings with TCI advisor for the duration of the fellowship
Teach four 3-week in-classroom arts residencies at Young Audiences Charter School at Crocker
Participate in three Professional Development workshops with local and national artists & agencies
Lead a culminating Professional Development presentation for local arts educators in the community
