Young Audiences of Louisiana to apply for a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant

Young Audiences of Louisiana (YALA) is excited to announce its intent to apply for a competitive 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant through the Louisiana Department of Education. The grant will fund afterschool and summer programming at five partner schools in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes: Young Audiences Charter Schools (Lawrence D. Crocker, Kate Middleton, and Burmaster Campuses), Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts, and Morris Jeff Community School. YALA has been awarded this grant seven times since 2006. If funded during this cycle, the grant will ensure quality arts, academic, and recreational afterschool and summer services for 500 local students.
