Goat in The Schools: Student Written Plays Brought to Life

Goat in The Schools is Goat in the Road Productions' (GRP) traveling performance presenting four student-written plays performed by professional actors, bringing high quality theatre filled with sound, costumes & props to cafeterias, libraries and museums throughout Louisiana.

GRP is pleased to present four zany and boisterous student-written plays to New Orleans schools. This year's plays are:

The Essay By George Figueroa-Vasquez
Grandma Wants To Play by Jayvon Decay
The Textbook by Keana Khandowdy
The Invasion by Larissa Vasquez

Each play is accompanied by a short curtain speech from one of the performers, discussing the inspiration for the play and the process of writing.  Goat in the Schools empowers students to write creatively by featuring theater written by students, for students.
