YALA’s Arts Education Workshops for Early Learners are in person at Ogden, Newcomb, and NOMA.

Young Audiences of Louisiana (YALA) will hold in-person YALA Baby Artsplay! and Artsplay workshops at at Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Newcomb Art Museum, and New Orleans Museum of Art, among other locations. The 30-minute arts education workshops use song and dance to promote cognitive development in preschoolers. Thanks to the generous support of The Helis Foundation, admission to the workshop and the partner museum is free for program participants. Attend one workshop or all six! Calling All Caregivers with “Little Helpers”

Young Audiences of Louisiana (YALA) will continue to provide live arts education workshops to families via Zoom. YALA’s latest Baby Artsplay! at Home series, “Little Helpers”, begins on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Each workshop experience will be led by Young Audiences of Louisiana and Louisiana Wolf Trap Teaching Artist Dana Leon. "Little Helpers" allows for a playful introduction to key areas of childhood development, including motor skills, language and motor skills. While workshops are designed to promote childhood development and expand caregiver knowledge through the use of the performing arts, YALA’s Baby Artsplay! workshop will also give families the opportunity to explore visual art with their children.
